I attended the Great Northern Harmony Workshop this week end in Montreal, Quebec, Canada where Vocal Spectrum was featured as the guest quartet.
It was the first time that I had ever participated in an event like this, because I am new to barber shopping and have just formed a new quartet called Mix 'n Match.
I must say that the members of Vocal Spectrum were fantastic!
Montreal City Voices ( the chorus that the other members of my quartet belong to )and I got coached by Johnny. He was great and I will now always remember " that good singing is brought to you by the letter O."
Then, my quartet won the lottery by getting to be coached by Tim.( we have learned many of our songs from his learning tracks. )
He was also great and gave us a lot of encouragement,and helpful advice, seeing as we are a novice quartet.
So, I just wanted to say thank you to all of the members of Vocal Spectrum for making this workshop such an enriching experience for us and hope that you enjoyed your short stay in Montreal.
Hope that your Bass singer is feeling better ( but that other guy who sang with you at the last moment was also great! )
I wish you all much success and hope that I get to see you perform again very soon.

A friend invited me to Join a new group he was forming as a Nucleus Member (I sing Bass)....I wasn't so interested coz I was looking for something more creative than Classical Male Voice Pieces, so he showed me a CD his brother bought for him from the US (which was hard to find). It was the Carol VCD of Ambassadors of Harmony. I was amazed....Wow (I thought) this is cool! I said to myself, this is something I would certainly want to do. Suddenly 4 guys came forward and Sang! I had goosebumps like I have now as they rendered ROCK OF AGES. After weeks of searching, I discovered the Quartet's name was VOCAL SPECTRUM! That was 2 years ago. Since then I've been surfing the internet for anything and everything U guys have done that I can lay my hands on. The group we formed became the FIRST and ONLY Barbershop group in Nigeria(HARMONY DIVINE). Prob is, ordering for songs online (Scripts, Audio and Video) have proven difficult. Eventually we'll find a way around it....I just wanted to say U GUYS ARE THE GREATEST!!!!!

Hey guys! Great fun with you on New Year's Eve. Can't wait to have our own shindig! I thought you'd like to know that you have 2 groupies that follow you regularly...they are my 2 daughters who are 14 and 13! Great role models for them. I didn't ever think anything could match Eminem! LOL

Hello Vocal Spectrum. Big fan of your music and your voices. My high school barbershop loved your arrangement for Scarborough fair. WE really want to perform it for a competition we have coming up. Dear Vocal Spectrum,
A close family friend ( He's in the AIC and sings a pretty good bass! ) and I were chatting about you on the phone earlier this week and he suggested that you were so good you could turn professional. All I hope is you stay together for a long, long time. You are an inspiration to the young and not so young, not only in your wonderful singing but in the way you conduct yourselves in the public eye. You are all true gentleman and the barbershop world is a better place with quartet's like you singing within it.

Hi!
I was at the Youth in Harmony workshop/ performance last thursday in Illinois. You guys were amazing!!! I love your songs. I my self am in my scool's sweet adelines, and it was cool to be able to hear a professional group. Also, thanks for signing my shoes. A lot of people have asked me who signed them, and I say that the best barbershop signed them. I hope you guys come to the Youth in haHarmony next year!

Hello guys, just back from the long 3 hour drive from Lincoln this weekend -- the Tribute to the Champs was soooo awesome, it brought tears to our eyes!
